Societies have secrets, some less, others more. So far, Saudi society has tried just about everything to keep its secrets secret. Now the series revealed Al-Mastour – Dahaya Halal (In Secret – Allowed Sacrifices) some of them. She can be seen on Shahid, the Saudi equivalent of Netflix, these days. It’s about, of course, sex, which should be halal, i.e. Islamically allowed, and above all, as is so often the case: abuse of power.
