On Thursday, the Council of State definitively canceled the government decree prohibiting the sale of hemp flower and leaf loaded with CBD, the non-psychotropic molecule of cannabis, after having already suspended it less than a year. Its marketing is therefore definitively authorized.
“It has not been established that the consumption of the flowers and leaves of these varieties of cannabis with a low THC level would entail risks for public health”, explained the highest administrative court in its decision, judging “illegal the general and absolute ban on their marketing”.
