Gabriel Frei* (all names with * have been changed) was a very attractive man. He was 1.84 meters tall, muscular, had thick dark hair and liked to wear branded clothes from Hugo Boss and Bogner. He lived in Rupperswil, a village with 5,000 inhabitants and a sugar mill, a few kilometers from Aarau. In his free time, he coached the “Seetal Selection” C youth team, in which some of the best 12 to 14 year olds from the Swiss canton of Aargau played. He was considered committed and ambitious.
His parents were respected people with a lot of money. In winter the Freis skied in Austria; In the summer they flew to Florida.
