New episodes, old core team: The 24th season of “The Rosenheim Cops” is currently being filmed. There is a new face among the guest investigators.
ZDF is currently working on the new episodes of the popular early evening crime series “The Rosenheim Cops”. As announced on the series’ official Instagram account, the 24th season is currently being filmed in Rosenheim, Bavaria, Munich and the surrounding area. Once again, the series remains true to its focus and gathers numerous temporary detectives around the core team consisting of actors Dieter Fischer (53), Igor Jeftić (52), Marisa Burger (50) and Max Müller (59) who will solve different cases. Also new to the team for the first time is the Austrian actress Sophia Schiller (28), known from the ARD telenovela “Sturm der Liebe”.
The Vienna native portrayed the shady and devious antagonist Constanze von Thalheim in “Sturm der Liebe” from 2021 to 2022. Schiller is also known from the Sky series “The Pass”. The two actors Baran Hêvî (38) and Michaela Weingartner (33) were used in the 23rd season of “The Rosenheim Cops” and will investigate again. According to the announcement, Thekla Hartmann (30), who was at least no longer mentioned in the current announcement, will probably no longer be there.
The new episodes will air on ZDF in autumn
The total of 24 new episodes of “The Rosenheim Cops” are scheduled to be broadcast in autumn 2024. The series has been running regularly on ZDF since 2002 and has already had more than 500 episodes and six special editions in 23 seasons to date. The 45-minute-long humorous crime thriller episodes have been broadcast on Tuesdays at 7:25 p.m. for many years. Numerous guest stars such as Wayne Carpendale, Andreas Gabalier, Dieter Thomas Heck, Christine Neubauer, Verona Pooth, Simone Thomalla and Martin Semmelrogge have already appeared in “The Rosenheim Cops”.
