The return to normal in Tisséo transport scheduled for Wednesday

Normal life is for Wednesday. The prefecture decided to extend this Tuesday in Toulouse its system of prevention of urban violence put in place because of the incidents, more sporadic since Sunday, which broke out there after the death of the young Nahel in Nanterre. For the sixth consecutive evening, the public transport lines will therefore close in advance, even if the measures are relaxed for the buses, all the lines of which will be interrupted from 11 p.m.

The tram is particularly concerned with the last departures at 8:03 p.m. from MEETT, at 8:24 p.m. from Odyssud and at 9:13 p.m. from the Palais de Justice. Bus line 31 will be extended to the Arènes in the second part of the evening.

Last departures 11:30 p.m. almost everywhere

Regarding the metro, the last departures will take place at 11.30 p.m., except on the Basso-Cambo-Arènes section and in the Empalot and Trois-Cocus stations where the trains will no longer run from 10 p.m.

Prefect Pierre-André Durand specifies that these decisions were taken in agreement with Mayor Jean-Luc Moudenc to prevent the actions “of groups of individuals who move from neighborhood to neighborhood to commit various degradations and engage in clashes with law enforcement.”

“For Wednesday July 5, the reopening of the network is scheduled at the usual times,” says Tisséo.
