Fabian Frischmann, stage name Lef Dutti, and Mike Huber, known as George Urkwell, have just steered their transporter into the backstage area of the Tollwood Festival in Munich. Unload, eat, rehearse, they’ll be headliners later. In between: Interview. Friends scurry around, parents are occasionally there too. That seems down-to-earth. Both come from the area around Dingolfing in Lower Bavaria. In 2014 her track became Zipfeschwinga to the breakthrough, in 2019 they filled the Munich Olympic Stadium. They play concerts all over Germany, their videos have many millions of views. Your texts are full of sharp social criticism, but you can also find the beautiful banality of Bavarian country life in them. Both artists have been living in Berlin for years, they are right now on their brain convertible tour through Germany, at the end of which they will also play with the Munich Symphony Orchestra.
