But “no significant element” emerged from this hearing, according to a source close to the file.
Eric Abidal’s name appeared in the proceedings after investigators established a material connection with the victim, who was using a chip in the footballer’s name on his mobile phone. The midfielder played at FC Barcelona at a time when Eric Abidal was sporting director of the Catalan club.

These revelations had caused a stir: the wife of the former French international had then announced that she was going to file a divorce petition and assured that Eric Abidal had confessed to her having had a relationship with Kheira Hamraoui.
“We absolutely want to preserve Ms. Hamraoui’s privacy and allow her to resume training as soon as possible as well as [préserver] the secrecy of the ongoing investigation and judicial information, ”reacted his lawyer Saïd Harir.
In this case, a judicial investigation was opened on November 15 against X for “criminal association with a view to preparing an offense punishable by at least five years” and “violence aggravated by three circumstances, followed by incapacity n ‘not exceeding eight days’.
