The production’s tribute to Marwan Berreni

He was one of the main actors of the famous soap opera. While the death of actor Marwan Berreni was confirmed yesterday after the discovery of a body on a farm in the Rhône, the production of More beautiful life wanted to pay tribute to him on social networks.

“Marwan occupied a very important place within the family More beautiful lifewith his great energy and his professionalism on the film sets, always attentive and caring with all the teams”, recalls the production on Facebook, which shares its “deep sadness”.

And to conclude: “our thoughts go particularly to his parents, his family and his loved ones to whom we extend our sincere condolences.” “He was a sun, an adorable, smiling guy. We think of his family, his loved ones,” Stéphanie Brémond, deputy general director in charge of serials at the production company Newen France, told AFP.

A tribute in the series to be determined

The actor joined the cast in 2009 to play the role of Abdel Fedala. At the beginning of the summer, before the actor’s disappearance, the deputy general director in charge of content at TF1 indicated that this character should indeed be in the new version bought by the channel. But in view of events, production has adapted.

“When we started working on the first episodes, we knew that he had disappeared and that we would therefore not put his character at the forefront of the first stories,” Stéphanie Brémond explained to AFP. This is why “in the first episodes, we will not particularly allude to it”. “What we’re thinking about is how we’re going to talk about it, one way or another, at some point. But it’s still very early,” she continued.

Marwan Berreni had no longer given any sign of life after a road accident in which he was possibly involved. On the evening of August 3, in Mâcon, a 37-year-old woman was hit by a 4×4 corresponding to that of the actor, based in the region. She was seriously injured, and the driver fled.
