We think of his family, his loved ones,” Stéphanie Brémond, deputy general director in charge of serials at the production company Newen France, told AFP.
A tribute in the series to be determined
The actor joined the cast in 2009 to play the role of Abdel Fedala. At the beginning of the summer, before the actor’s disappearance, the deputy general director in charge of content at TF1 indicated that this character should indeed be in the new version bought by the channel. Marwan Berreni had no longer given any sign of life after a road accident in which he was possibly involved. On the evening of August 3, in Mâcon, a 37-year-old woman was hit by a 4×4 corresponding to that of the actor, based in the region. She was seriously injured, and the driver fled.
