Around a hundred guests, mostly dressed in black and white, as well as a dog also wearing black and white: That’s fitting for a chess dinner. In addition, there are three grandmasters, an international master, eight chess trainers and countless hobby players in the room, which is why we would like to put forward the following thesis: The Maximilian Hall in the Hotel Vier Saisonen is the place with the highest IQ in Munich on Tuesday evenings, and that collective account balance probably doesn’t look bad either. God knows that intelligence and money go hand in hand cannot be said about every meeting in Munich society, but here it is true: Charity evening of the Chess Foundation, the aim is to collect donations for primary school children in socially disadvantaged areas.
