The Parisian club tries to convince Bayern Munich to offer Joshua Kimmich

The operation seems complicated to say the least, but if you don’t try, you get nothing. Currently in discussions with Bayern Munich for the departure of Nordi Mukiele to Bavaria, PSG would have an idea in mind: take the opportunity to attract Joshua Kimmich in return. According to The Team Today, the Parisian club would have made a counter-proposal to Bayern, who for their part made a loan offer with a purchase option estimated at 25 million euros. In summary, the sale of Mukiele plus a nice sum of money, the amount of which has not yet been leaked.

“Almost impossible this winter”, really?

Kimmich is obviously a very interesting profile for PSG. The German, still young for a player of his experience (28 years old, 82 caps, eight-time German champion and winner of the Champions League), can play right back – and therefore replace Hakimi during the CAN – as a midfielder field, a sector where Parisians greatly need reinforcement. Kimmich is at the end of his contract in a year and a half and could be tempted by an adventure abroad.

However, it will be necessary to convince Bayern and their coach Thomas Tuchel, which is no easy task. Parting ways with such an important executive during the season is not really in the habits of the house, and the former PSG coach would not be at all inclined to make up his mind. Constraints “which suggest that the finalization of such a transfer is almost impossible this winter”, writes The Team. No one will say, in any case, that it is a bad idea to try.
