The ordeal of a kidnapped and prostituted teenager on trial

Almost ten years after the events, three women are appearing from Monday before the Nanterre Assize Court for having kidnapped, beaten and prostituted a young 15-year-old runaway. Three men, accused of having had sexual relations without consent and priced with the young girl, are judged alongside them for rape.

For three days in April 2014, Danaé K., Wendy H. and Christel W., aged 21, 22 and 43 at the time, were accused of having held the victim in an apartment in Meudon (Hauts-de-France). -Seine), forcing him under the threat of blows to have sexual relations with men contacted for this purpose. According to the investigation, the teenager, originally from Seine-Maritime, had joined former friends, Wendy H. and Danaé K., in the Paris region during a runaway. She had said that she had argued with them in the past for a “boy story”.

Forced sex

In a bar, the three respondents have, according to the prosecution, pushed the teenager to kiss a man met on the spot, before, once they returned to Christel W.’s home, to force her to have sex with him . They then claimed a few tens of euros from Mahfoudh M., 32 years old at the time of the events.

During the following days, the young victim, again according to the prosecution, received beatings and humiliations from the three defendants, who watched and sometimes filmed the sexual relations to which she was forced.

“My client has been waiting for almost ten years for her victim status to be recognized. She wants the crimes of undeniable violence, committed by adults, some of whom are more than twice her age, to be firmly condemned, ”said Me Clément Diakonoff, lawyer for the victim, civil party to the trial. The six defendants appear free under judicial control.

Reimburse the cost of a locksmith

Raymond A. and Mouloud B., 37 and 23 at the time, admitted having paid the accused “100 euros”, affirming to the investigators that the young girl was consenting and that they thought she was of age. The three defendants had explained during the investigation that they had pushed the teenager to have paid sex in order to reimburse the cost of a locksmith, called according to them “by his fault”.

The police had been alerted by a phone call from one of the defendants to an acquaintance of the victim, to whom she had said she planned to “turn her around in the cellars”. The victim suffered, after three days of sequestration, from an edema in the face, a wound in the eardrum, hematomas on the arms and buttocks and gynecological lesions.

The defendants were sent back to the Assize Court for confinement “with torture or acts of barbarity”. Several defense lawyers regret seeing the trial open more than nine years after the fact, when their clients have “changed their lives” and “evolved”. “My client today expresses a lot of regrets, she has made progress on a lot of things. She now lives far from the Paris region, receives care, ”explained Me Quentin Dekimpe, lawyer for Christel W.
