“A rainy disturbance is approaching the Atlantic coast. The activity of this disturbance will persist throughout the night [de lundi à mardi] as well as a good part of the day on Tuesday, with continuous rain generating significant accumulations”reports Météo-France. “For the episode, accumulations of between 40 and 60 mm are expected in the space of 24 hours (rather between 40 and 50 mm in Mayenne and Sarthe). It is possible to exceed 60 mm locally, particularly towards the reliefs of Finistère. This precipitation also occurs on soils that are already saturated.”adds the weather station.
