The regional and departmental elections must be postponed, pleaded the LR mayor of Nice Christian Estrosi in the Journal du Dimanche, estimating that “the only campaign which must prevail is the vaccination campaign”. “These elections can only be held when the majority of French people are vaccinated,” insisted the elected.
“Our democracy will not be confined if we have the guarantee that these elections [pour l’instant prévues les 13 et 20 juin], will be held in 2021, when the situation improves, from September ”, estimates the mayor of the fifth largest city in France.
