The North beats its historic heat record for March before … the return of snow!

The sun of August 25, 2016, in Lille – O. Aballain / 20 Minutes

Under these conditions, it’s hard to resist the urge to sunbathe. This Wednesday, the Nord and Pas-de-Calais beat their heat record for a month of March. With 24.6 degrees on the thermometer in the middle of the afternoon, the region surpassed the record set the day before (24 degrees). Above all, these two high temperatures in two days exceeded the historical mark which dated back to… March 1968 (23.7 degrees). Numbers 12 to 13 degrees above seasonal norms.

But this extreme sweetness will not last. From this weekend, the temperatures will drop and … snow could even fall on Tuesday and Wednesday next in the region as planned
Meteo France ! For those who still doubted it, the climate never stops walking on the head. There are no more seasons my good lady!
