Freshly bombarded as the youngest tenant of Matignon, Gabriel Attal could have followed a completely different path. In 2008, when he was only 19 years old, the current Prime Minister actually cherished the dream of shining on the big screen by appearing in the casting of the film The beautiful personby Christophe Honoré.
His appearance, quite brief, comes a little more than five minutes after the start of a film which, it should be noted, only had relative success (it was released in 48 theaters and only totaled just over 80,000 entries, according to AlloCiné).
No need to freeze the image to see that the young man is in no way impressed by the cameras. It must be said that he had already taken part in the exercise ten years earlier by revealing, on television, his – precocious – acting talents.
History does not tell how Gabriel Attal’s first vocation was thwarted, nor why he turned to politics. We only hope that he won’t misuse this hidden talent…
