The new Nutella ice cream is already the subject of a recall

The new Nutella ice cream from the Ferrero brand is already subject to a recall. Although it is only announced on store shelves for the month of June, it has already been marketed by the U cooperative. It is a labeling defect which is at the origin of this recall, indicates Consumption reminder.

The product is packaged in a 230 g (470 ml) jar which bears the barcode 8000500425183. Lots starting with L071E32 and L072E32 are affected by this recall. Their respective minimum durability dates are 09/02/2025 and 09/03/2025. These pots of ice cream were sold by the U cooperative throughout France between May 20 and 23, 2024.

Reminder Conso specifies that the obligatory information is only mentioned in foreign languages. The following allergenic ingredients are not indicated in French: cream, milk, hazelnuts and soy. Just like these allergens which may be present in trace amounts: gluten, eggs, almonds, nuts, cashews, pecans, pistachios, macadamia nuts.
