Rainer Malkowski and his wife bequeathed their impressive house to the Bavarian Academy of Fine Arts in addition to foundation money for literary prizes. What the academy plans to do with it became clear on the opening weekend in Brannenburg, Upper Bavaria: The “Villa Malkowski” opened its doors.
