The National Assembly rejects the motions of censure and adopts the bill

It is done. The National Assembly on Monday rejected the motion of censure tabled by LFI against the government, which is worth adopting at first reading the draft Social Security budget for 2023.

The text of the Insoumis collected 218 votes, far from the absolute majority of 289 deputies. Previously, the motion tabled by the RN had only obtained 90 supporters. These motions had been tabled in response to the new recourse to Article 49.3 (without a vote) triggered by the government on the whole of the 2023 Social Security draft budget

The draft budget, which anticipates a sharp drop in the deficit, will be examined in the Senate from Wednesday in committee, and Monday, November 7 in session. In particular, it plans to improve prevention and reform the training of general practitioners by adding a fourth year with “priority” internships in medical deserts.
