It could be a problem for a Broadway musical about Michael Jackson that the person with the best voice on stage doesn’t play the title role. Ayana George outshines the full cast in her brief appearance as Michael’s mother, although, as one would expect on Broadway, the cast is superb. But the supposed shortcoming is with the Musical “MJ”, which has been running at New York’s Neil Simon Theater since the beginning of the monthnothing compared to the really deep problem of this production.
