The Munich crime scene detectives listen up: Hello! – Media

2025 will be the end for the Munich “crime scene” investigator duo Leitmayr and Batic. It’s a shame, familiar, experienced faces are leaving with them.

Of course, like so many Munich stories, this story begins in the beer garden. Bayerischer Rundfunk was looking for “fresh faces” for its broadcast crime scene, so it has been handed down, although it is of course not very nice to inform the existing staff that they are obviously used up. In the seventies Gustl Bayrhammer investigated as Melchior Veigl, in the eighties Helmut Fischer as Ludwig Lenz. The eternal Grantler followed by the eternal Stenz. And then suddenly there were these two guys in their thirties, hungry, aspiring. The television people invited them to a snack under chestnuts, Miroslav Nemec and Udo Wachtveitl thought they were in the pitch for the position of commissioner and started playing. Little did they know that the choice had long since fallen to both of them. The meeting just wanted to make sure they were functioning as a team.
