The most expensive yacht in the world: Designer shows “G-Quest” for a billion US dollars

Gigantomania for a good cause: With the “G-Quest”, the Californian yacht designer Steve Kozloff shows a ship which, if it were to be realised, would break all records in private shipping in one fell swoop. His design is a 215 meter long yacht – a whopping 35 meters more than the currently longest yacht in the world “Azzam”.

Luxury and philanthropic endeavors

But Kozloff did not only have luxury and abundance in mind when designing it, but rather – very modestly – the well-being of all mankind. He says. Specifically, it says at the Introducing the “G Quest”: “The mission of the ‘G-Quest’, a 215 meter yacht, is to allow her owner to oversee his philanthropic efforts while living in luxury at sea. She is designed for both humanitarian and research purposes .”

The supposedly noble project is intended to underline the planned equipment of the yacht: Although three decks are dedicated to the well-being of the owner and his 26 guests, the remaining 9 decks are full of equipment for research and medicine. For example, Kozloff plans to build several research stations, laboratories for experiments with sustainable drives and fuels, as well as to house an entire hospital with 20 beds and robot-assisted surgery with a fast internet connection.

The rest of the data reads as if the buyer should ideally live on the yacht all year round – because the range of the ship is sufficient to cover large parts of the world. In addition, despite all charitable intentions, the fun should not be neglected: the yacht should offer space for two helicopters, an air taxi, two seaplanes and several dinghies. The “G-Quest” should also house a submarine for discoveries under water.

The most expensive yacht in the world – if someone orders it

A solarium, several pools, a 300 square meter apartment, a basketball court and a beach bar will provide variety on board. So that the “G-Quest” at anchor is not completely dependent on the continuous operation of the engines, it should be able to design generators for wave energy in order to be able to maintain operations in a more environmentally friendly way.

The magazine “Robb report” writes that Steve Kozloff is assuming a price of one to 1.2 billion US dollars. This would not only secure the ship’s place as the longest yacht in the world, but probably also the most expensive. Currently, “Dilbar” ( 800 million US dollars), “Eclipse” (700 million US dollars) and “Azzam” (600 million US dollars) share the podium. With one crucial difference: the three yachts mentioned exist – whether anyone ever saw the “G -Quest” is currently not foreseeable.
