The mayor, prosecuted for embezzlement of public funds, was acquitted

François Commeinhes (various right), the mayor of Sète (Hérault), was released, this Monday afternoon, by the criminal court of Montpellier, in the case of embezzlement of public funds for which he was prosecuted, reports the newspaper Free lunch.

The mayor of Sète, and his lawyer, David Mendel, had mentioned negligence. There was no, they assured, voluntary embezzlement in this case. The former CEO of the singular island has also been released in this case.
