This Monday, the mayor of Guérande Nicolas Criaud (center right) signed a text on “the opening of the Santa Claus toy factories”. This decree, taken in accordance with “the general labor code of joyful elves” and “the union of toy factories for children who have been well-behaved”, authorizes “the numerous small toy factories in the territory” to reopen, from of Saturday.

“It is expected of Guérandaises and Guérandais not to disturb the work of the Christmas elves if they come across one of these factories”, it is written in the second and last article of the decree, which will take effect at the launch of the illuminations this weekend.
