For Anna Loos there is no longer a masked appearance on “The Masked Singer” – she was in a seahorse costume. But what did the seahorse have to do with the kangaroo?

Singer and actress Anna Loos flew out of the ProSieben show “The Masked Singer” on Saturday. In the costume of a seahorse and with Dolly Parton’s song “Jolene” she received the fewest votes. “It was super exciting,” she said after lifting the mask. “The only thing I didn’t like is that I’ve gained weight. I’ve really gained weight.” The unmasking of the 52-year-old is remarkable because a couple competed individually in the current season.

Loos’ husband – “Tatort” star Jan Josef Liefers (58) – had to leave “The Masked Singer” in a kangaroo costume in the first show of the current season. “He can’t be thrown out in the first lap,” was what went through her head, said Loos.

“Our kids didn’t know,” the singer of the band Silly continued. The secret was quite delicate. “One of our kids loves the show.” Loos then held himself up to the fourth show, but in contrast to the terrycloth (“Love Yourself” by Justin Bieber) and the toast (“When I need you” by Leo Sayer) on Saturday, he was not allowed to continue in the shaky candidate round.

“Masked Singer” with seahorse and kangaroo: hide-and-seek together

She and her husband had been allowed to play hide-and-seek together for the show. “We came here together. We slept together in a hotel room.” Excuse for the curious were new projects. But then you each had your own room in the studio. The show’s contestants are usually not allowed to know each other’s identities. She also has no idea who is hiding behind the undisclosed costumes, said the singer.

Rea Garvey and guest star Beatrice Egli were right on the advice team. The audience also put their bets on the Loos app. Ruth Moschner was lost with the tip Dunja Hayali. In the three previous shows, in addition to Liefers, pop singer Marianne Rosenberg (“He belongs to me”) as a mushroom and TV presenter Daniel Boschmann as a raccoon had to leave the show.

In the rate show, celebrities appear as singers, but they hide their identities behind elaborate costumes. They will be revealed as soon as they don’t get enough votes or win at the very end.
