With the heroine, a combative female figure appears for the first time in “The Masked Singer”. And out of competition, a tiger sings online.

Only a few days left and the fifth season of “The Masked Singer” starts – the first, which does not run on Tuesday, but on Saturdays. It starts on October 16 and ProSieben will successively introduce the new characters as a countdown. The hammerhead shark, chilli, pug and skunk have already been presented (read more here). Now the station revealed the heroine as mask number five.

So far, male characters, such as the Anubis or the bull, have been aggressive on the hit show. So far, female masks have tried to score with cuteness (the rabbit or the chick) or elegance (the panther or the leopard). ProSieben now describes the heroine as the “first combative female character”.

According to the character’s backstory, the heroine usually lives secluded and peaceful in the forest. Only for the show does she prepare herself with a sword, helmet and armor.

A tiger out of competition

For the first time in “Masked Singer” there will be eleven rather than ten characters. However, number eleven occurs out of competition. The tiger can only be seen in the online show “The Masked Singer Ehrmann Tiger”. Instead of jurors Ruth Moschner (45) and Rea Garvey (48), the audience can puzzle over the celebrity under the mask. The sponsor Ehrmann’s show will also be available from October 16 in the ProSieben app and on themaskedsinger.de. The white tiger sings a song parallel to the TV broadcast, and there is a clue clip every Tuesday.

Ruth Moschner, Rea Garvey and a changing guest, however, advise in the main show with moderator Matthias Opdenhövel (51) from Saturday, October 16, 2021 at 8:15 p.m. on ProSieben and on Joyn.
