Reshuffle on “The Masked Singer”: Palina Rojinski replaces audience favorite

The ProSieben show “The Masked Singer” is entering its tenth season. Shortly before the start, the broadcaster announced the new jurors.
The appointment of the two rate professionals also means that there is currently no regular place for presenter Ruth Moschner, who has sat at the celebrity desk on many evenings on the show and given her tips – including last season.
Channel boss Hannes Hiller now thanked Moschner “on behalf of the entire #MaskedSinger family” for “your commitment, your fun and your wild speculations”. At the same time, he left a back door open for a return. “Anything is possible on ‘The Masked Singer’. I’m looking forward to seeing you again – whether at the rate desk or even on the #MaskedSinger stage,” he explained. The idea that Moschner could switch sides and compete as a candidate on the music show should fire the imagination of fans of the format.

Rojinski said she is looking forward to the new job. “Definitely the show with the biggest surprise effect on German television. And now I can finally practice my inspector skills professionally as a member of the advice team and I’m really looking forward to working with Rick Kavanian,” she said. “I have big plans for the Kavanian-Rojinski Detective Agency!”
For Kavanian (“The Shoe of Manitu”), the appointment actually means a direct continuation of his work. During the previous ninth season he had already joined the council as a permanent member.

On “The Masked Singer” celebrities appear as singers but hide their true identities behind masks. Only her voice and mysterious clues give any idea who is on stage. In the studio, a professional guessing team looks at the clues, while the audience puzzles in front of the television. Whoever is thrown out of the show or wins it at the very end has to make themselves known.
The ninth season was won by singer Jennifer Weist, known as the front woman of the German-speaking rock band Jennifer Rostock. Now the tenth season is coming up.
