Change on “The Masked Singer”: Carolin and David Kebekus as well as Rick Kavanian take over the guesswork. Alvaro Soler is not there.

On Saturday, December 9th from 8:15 p.m., ProSieben will announce the next round of “The Masked Singer”. As the broadcaster has now announced, the sibling pair Carolin (43) and David Kebekus (39) will complete the guessing team as guests. However, the two comedy stars will not be alongside the previous jury member Alvaro Soler (32) will take a seat, but next to Rick Kavanian (52), who will take over the singer’s permanent place. Moderator Ruth Moschner (47), on the other hand, will remain true to her role as a permanent member of the advice team.

Kavanian is anything but unknown in “The Masked Singer” universe. Last year he made it to the finale of the seventh season under the costume of the robot Rosty. In the spring, the comedian and actor celebrated his debut in the advice team: “I really feel very connected to ‘The Masked Singer’ and everyone in front of and behind the camera,” says the former “Bullyparade” star, looking forward to his appearance. He enters the studio and “immediately your heart opens up”: “Like a well-organized party with lovely people. Funnily enough, I felt that in front of the screen during the first shows.”

Alvaro Soler has “very nice private plans”

Soler explained after the last episode that he had “very nice private plans” and could therefore no longer take part. We will soon know exactly what his plan is.

The current, ninth season of “The Masked Singer” has been running since November 18th. So far, the singer Katja Ebstein (78), the model Eva Padberg (43) and the journalist Jenke von Wilmsdorff (58) have been exposed among the costumes. Uwe Ochsenknecht (67) also made a faux pas live on stage when his mask slipped off his head, revealing his unmistakable face. Nevertheless, as a Kiwi he is still in the running.
