The majority union Force Ouvrière calls again for a strike by garbage collectors

The movement hardens and it is the whole city which risks collapsing shortly under the waste. In a press release, the majority union within Marseille garbage collectors, Force Ouvrière, announced that it was joining the garbage collection strike movement launched at the end of November by the CGT, Unsa and FSU.

A round table on the working time of agents, at the heart of the last social conflict which paralyzed Marseille last fall, was held on Tuesday in mainland France, and it does not seem to give satisfaction to Force factory Girl. At the end of September, during the last movement, the police headquarters of Bouches-du-Rhône had ordered the requisition of garbage collectors and in particular strikers at the Aix-Marseille-Provence metropolis in the face of “thousands of tonnes of waste” which was accumulating on public roads.
