The main accused sentenced to thirty years in prison

Audrey Mondjehi, the main accused in the trial of the Strasbourg Christmas market attack, was sentenced this Thursday evening to 30 years of criminal imprisonment, with a two-thirds security period, for having helped the jihadist Chérif Chekatt to obtain a weapon.

The 42-year-old accused was found guilty of criminal terrorist association, because of his “very close proximity” to the attacker, and because he “had knowledge of (his) violent radicalization”, declared the President of the Paris Assize Court.
