The performance was six weeks ago, but the jubilation continues to this day. You can find him in the comment column of the video uploaded on Youtube, new entries are added almost daily: “Mr. Maaßen, you give me hope in this ghost ship Germany!” it says – or that Hans-Georg Maaßen is the best politician in Germany, he has to become “Chancellor or President”. The recording of an interview that the former President of the Office for the Protection of the Constitution and today’s CDU candidate for the Bundestag gave to TV Berlin received more than half a million views. Almost 20,000 times the thumbs are stretched out on YouTube as a sign of approval, less than 800 times it is lowered. The video is a hit.
