The literary world against anti-Semitism. Answers to open letter – culture

It’s not as if the literary world hadn’t reacted at all to the Hamas terrorist attacks on Israel on October 7th. As clearly as there was a general heaviness over the book fair in Frankfurt, there were also attempts to find a language for this heaviness – for example at a PEN Berlin panel at the start of the fair, where Meron Mendel with the authors Tomer Dotan – Dreyfus and Doron Rabinovici came together under the title “Concerned for Israel”.
