For fans of the start-up show “Die Höhle der Löwen” there is reason to be happy: the new season will start on April 4th – and there will be a new lioness and some prominent founders.

Carsten Maschmeyer, Nico Rosberg, Ralf Dümmel, Dagmar Wöhrl, Nils Glagau, Judith Williams and Georg Kofler – as far as the “DHDL” jury is already known to die-hard fans of the show. With the new season (from April 4th, VOX) there will also be a new face to discover on the show, as the broadcaster has now revealed.

Sarna Röser: New investor in “The Lion’s Den”

The entrepreneur Sarna Röser, 34, will be seen as a guest lioness for the first time. In the nine new episodes, she will fight for the best deals alongside well-known investors. “I’m happy to be the new guest lioness in ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’,” enthuses the young top manager Röser about her new commitment. “I would like to contribute to making young entrepreneurs in Germany more visible in order to inspire even more people to become entrepreneurs!”

It is important to her to “encourage people with an entrepreneurial vision to advance their idea, to develop it further, to keep bringing their innovative products to market – and to face the competition”. It is also a fact: “Brave entrepreneurs are life insurance and the future of Germany. And we need more of them!”

New “DHDL” lioness Sarna Röser: How she got rich

When Röser is not sitting in the jury chairs for “The Lion’s Den”, she is the designated successor in the family company, cement pipe and concrete works Karl Röser & Sohn GmbH. She is also a member of the management of Röser FAM GmbH & Co. KG and sits on the Fielmann Supervisory Board.

The business magazine “Capital” (belongs like the star on Gruner+ Jahr) also named Röser one of the 2019 Top 40 business talents under 40.

Michael Ballack appears as the founder

In addition to Röser, the new season also promises exciting moments for the founders: viewers can look forward to prominent founders, among other things. Michael Ballack, ex-captain of the DFB-Elf, and the hard rock star Axel Rudi Pell present their products to the lions. In addition, the new episodes with founders from Thailand, the USA and Switzerland should become more international. Remarkable: Thanks to Röser, there are more lionesses than lions in episode 4 for the first time.

The first episode of “The Lion’s Den” aired on August 19, 2014 on Vox. Since then, a total of 100 episodes have aired over ten seasons plus two specials. The show is an offshoot of the British show “Dragons’ Den”, which has now been adapted in numerous countries. Amiaz Habtu is back as moderator.
