His body was found by walkers. A 26-year-old young man lost his life while hiking on the Charmant Som trail in the Chartreuse massif (Isère), reports The Dauphiné Libéré. Alerted by a group of hikers who had discovered him with a backpack with traces of blood, the teams from the High Mountain Gendarmerie Platoon could only note the death of the young man.
An investigation was opened by the Grenoble public prosecutor’s office and entrusted to the gendarmerie to determine the exact circumstances of his death.
