The Killers
Rock band confirms concert series in Las Vegas
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of their debut album “Hot Fuss,” The Killers return to their hometown of Las Vegas with a series of concerts.
What’s special: They will play all the songs from the 2004 album, including the mega hits “Mr. Brigthside” and “Sombody Told Me”. When the concert series was officially announced, The Killers wrote, among other things, on Instagram: “It’s good to be home.” The fans should join the band at a total of eight concerts in Las Vegas so that they can celebrate 20 years of “Hot Fuss” together.
The Killers are also coming to Europe in the summer
The album marked The Killers’ breakthrough and sold more than five million copies in the US and UK alone. “Hot Fuss” and the first three singles were nominated for a total of five Grammy Awards. In the UK, the Americans achieved the phenomenon of placing all seven studio albums at number one in the charts. In their home country of the USA they only managed to do this four times.
Overall, The Killers are considered one of the largest active rock bands in the world, having sold more than 28 million records in their career. Their last album “Pressure Machine” was released in 2021. Before the Las Vegas concerts, The Killers can also be seen live in Europe. The Killers are giving six concerts in a row in London’s O2 Arena alone. Other stops on her tour include Glasgow, Dublin and Manchester.
