Apple is expected to unveil four new smartphones: the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, and the 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max. The big news this year is that Apple should abandon its Lightning port to switch to USB-C, and thus comply with the regulation imposed by the EU, which wanted finally universal charging, with one year of advance.
Attention, according to Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman, the higher charging and transfer speeds could be reserved for the Pro range. Just like the titanium chassis and the “x6 periscope” zoom, which should replace the x3 zoom which was starting to struggle against Samsung and Google’s Pixel. Unfortunately, these changes should result in prices increasing by around a hundred euros on the Pro range. Last year, the iPhone 14 Pro started at 1,329 euros and the Pro Max at 1,479 euros.
