In their version, the police evoke “the disruptive behavior of the group of young people during the journey”, specifies the prosecution. According to a police source, these four off-duty police officers, from the Paris region, had intervened to ask young people to calm down following a technical problem in Dol-de-Bretagne.

The anti-crime brigade intervened when the train arrived at Saint-Malo station. The police quickly filed a complaint for violence. The five young people had been taken into custody for violence and contempt.
