This is a sign that there are some unique experiences in this city. It can change, from a Sinatra playground of sin to Disneyland for adults in the 1990s to a sports and entertainment mecca for everyone. But one thing remains the same: the house always wins. This is the only way this city can survive – because it has nothing else, not even a reason for its existence.
