Easy game for the police: A hit-and-run driver lost his license plate in Stein (Fürth district) in Central Franconia and was quickly identified. According to police reports, the accident occurred on Sunday night when the 29-year-old man overlooked the car of a 50-year-old woman while turning. The driver was slightly injured in the collision. The man then fled. A witness found the license plate and passed it on to the police. An alcohol test on the fugitive showed a level of 1.1 per mille.
