The hard fate of Afghan women under the Taliban – Opinion

In Kabul, men rule as they did in the Middle Ages: the Taliban have now even forbidden women to attend universities. The decree joins a long list of rules that protect neither the dignity nor the right to self-determination of women in Afghanistan. It is further evidence of the Taliban’s frightening image of humanity, with whom the West entered into a naïve deal in order to be able to quickly end its long mission in the Hindu Kush.
