The MEP Europe Ecology-The Greens (EELV) Yannick Jadot estimated that the “green and left” bloc, just like the right, came out “reinforced” from the regional elections this Sunday on TF1.
“There are in fact two blocks which emerge strengthened from these elections”, he declared, praising the good score of the Greens: “The block on the right unquestionably, but there is also the green and left block, and we is basically around 34-35% ”. “Tomorrow begins another election,” added Yannick Jadot, possible presidential candidate.
For his part, the environmental candidate in Ile-de-France Julien Bayou affirmed on Twitter that “ecology is the only dynamic force”. Welcoming a “very encouraging” result to the regional, Julien Bayou, who carried the union list of the left in Ile-de-France, second behind the right-wing list of Valérie Pécresse, was delighted that “the left and ecology (are) back ”in view of the next elections.
