The measure will be presented to the vote of the elected officials in the permanent committee on Friday and the funds can be released next week. Five million euros are intended to rebuild damaged public services and an additional five million must reach VSEs (very small businesses) and traders affected by degradation and looting.
During the events of last weekend, a media library and a town hall were set on fire, respectively in Metz and Mont-Saint-Martin (Meurthe-et-Moselle) and stores looted in Strasbourg, including the Apple Store.

The Ile-de-France region will vote for its part, on Wednesday, emergency aid of 20 million euros to help mayors rebuild public facilities destroyed or damaged by the riots.
