When the gorilla sings, the audience cheers – but it cheers even more when he is exposed. In the semifinals of “The Masked Singer” the mask had to drop the covers.
The gorilla is Rúrik Gíslason
The gorilla caused a roaring audience in every episode and conquered the hearts of numerous fans. Good that with his revelation it is finally known which star was responsible for the wonderful performances: It is the Icelander Rúrik Gíslason.
Rúrik Gíslason: Former Icelandic football player
The Icelander was born on February 25, 1988 in the Icelandic capital Reykjavik. First he devoted himself to handball, but then switched to football. Among other things, he played for FC Copenhagen and 1. FC Nuremberg. From 2009 to 2018 he was part of the Iceland national team. But for some time now he has also been drawn to television, for example he took part in “Let’s Dance” in 2021 and won. During his unveiling on “The Masked Singer” he revealed to guest Nico Santos that he would like to continue making music.
