The gendarmes get their hands on 30 plants of cannabis in the Var

He had a green thumb and was handcuffed. The gendarmes of the Var arrested a man in his fifties as he was about to water his plantation of about thirty plants of cannabis, reports Var Morning.

The cultivated plot, located on family forest land, had been spotted in the spring by the gendarmes. Regular monitoring of the site enabled them to conclude this deal. The arrested individual recognized the facts without difficulty and will be brought to justice within the framework of a CRPC, a procedure with prior recognition of guilt which avoids a due process where the sentence is directly proposed by the prosecution.
