The French team in the handball world final by beating Denmark

SPORT – Relief for the French women’s handball team. After a very close match with the Denmark, the handball players qualified for the final of World Championship this Friday, December 17.

Dominated by the Danes for a large part of the meeting – the fault of many loss of balls – the French managed to pick up the score in the 50th minute. They had to fight again during the last ten minutes of the match in order not to lose their lead, for a final score of 23 to 22.

“We really gave everything. It was an extremely difficult game. (…) Super proud of the team, the result is magnificent but the manner so respectable. We are flushed, but what happiness ”, commented on BeinSport Estelle Nze Minko after the match. “We suffered a lot during this match,” confirmed their coach Olivier Krumbholz.

The final will take place on Sunday 19 December at 5.30 p.m., either against Norway or against spain who face each other this Friday evening.
