On September 23, a man showed up at Sezny, a tobacco bar in Guissény, north of Brest, in Finistère. The man first chooses to treat himself to a few scratch games after his day’s work. He pockets ten euros, which he decides to play again immediately by offering himself a Millionaire ticket, a historic game from La Française des jeux.
The manager of the tobacco bar opens a notebook but prefers not to give the first ticket. “Because it was badly torn,” confides the player. The woman behind the counter then gives him the second ticket. You guessed it, this ticket will prove to be a winner and will win the lucky one the tidy sum of one million euros.
According to the FDJ, the new millionaire wants to use his money to renovate a house. “It will become a living space to bring together all the people who are dear to me,” he explains. He is the third player from Finistère to hit the jackpot in this game since the start of the year.
