The newly conceived Music fair at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center attracted a large number of trade visitors and interested musicians from Germany and abroad over three days in March. In the coming year there will be a sequel under the name “Akustika”. A total of around 180 manufacturers and master craftsmen presented themselves at 130 stands in the exhibition area.
The focus was on handcrafted string and plucked instruments as well as wood and metal wind instruments, but also pianos and grand pianos. The visitors could try out the instruments directly, there were more than 50 concerts on two stages as well as numerous workshops and demonstrations. In addition, the German Musical Instrument Prize of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection was awarded during the fair.
Acoustica 2024 will take place from March 8th to 10th at Nuremberg Exhibition Center (NCC Ost), at the same time as the Whiskey Fair, by the way.
