The match will not be replayed. The FFF disciplinary commission ruled on Monday, ten days after the incidents in Charléty between Paris FC and Olympique Lyonnais, in the Coupe de France. The FFF decided to retain “the disciplinary responsibility of the two clubs in the incidents which occurred on the occasion of this meeting”.

The PFC receives 5 firm suspension games in Charléty

In addition to the lost match, Lyon will be closed to the visitors’ area outside until the end of the season, in all FFF and LFP competitions, reprieve for the next edition of the Coupe de France , a fine of 52,000 euros and reimbursement of costs linked to the repair of damaged seats in Charléty.

The reprieve can only be revoked (and therefore Lyon excluded from the Cup) if incidents related to Lyonnais supporters lead to the final termination of a match.

Paris FC, for its part, also receives a fine of 10,000 euros and 5 firm matches of ground suspension and will therefore not play its next home matches at Charléty.

Since the match, the two clubs have tried to explain, in particular through their presidents, Jean-Michel Aulas and Pierre Ferracci. The Lyon leader assured that the “wrongs were shared” while his counterpart from the PFC blamed the supporters and the OL security service, in various media interventions.

The FFF commission heard from the various parties on Monday before rendering its decision and applying very heavy penalties for the two clubs. OGC Nice, which was to face the winner of PFC-Lyon in the next round of the Coupe de France, should therefore go directly to the knockout stages.
