On the night of Wednesday to Thursday, the young 18-year-old woman was shot in the neck while she was in a vehicle chased by the police after a refusal to comply.
The driver of the car, a 30-year-old Moroccan, exchanged gunfire with police before being arrested. Indicted Thursday for “attempted murder of persons holding public authority”, “possession of a category B weapon” and “driving under the influence of alcohol and narcotics”, he made use of his right silent while in custody. He has since been imprisoned.
At the same time, an investigation by the IGPN has been opened and a ballistics expertise will be carried out to determine which weapon hit the young passenger who, according to the prosecution, was “fatally hit by a single firearm shot”.
An already heavy criminal record
