The little boy was playing in the garden of his grandparents’ house, in this village of 125 inhabitants, when he disappeared on Saturday around 6 p.m., in a steep area. The grandparents reside precisely in the hamlet of Haut-Vernet, 25 inhabitants, more than a kilometer from the village itself.
Several hundred volunteers mobilized
According to initial elements emerging from two testimonies, the child left “the place of residence of his grandparents” and was seen “in a downhill street by two people.
