Saralisa Volm is a film producer, actress and mother of four. In her book “The Eternal Unsatisfactory” she writes about the never-ending tugging at the female body. A conversation about nude scenes, getting older in film and the right not to love yourself.
Ms. Volm, how is it that you have dealt so intensively with women’s bodies and beauty norms?
In 2018 I have the exhibition series with the curator Britta Adler bitch MATERIAL made, which deals with images of women and mothers in art. The book is a logical continuation of the theme.
